There’s nothing like a new snow fall to brighten up a dreary winter landscape.
The beauty of a fresh snowfall inspires the photographer in all of us. The bright white snow against a rich blue sky, the light reflecting off of icicles, kids playing in the snow…winter scenes beckon to be photographed.
But photographing snow can be challenging. Exposure and white balance are especially tricky when you are shooting in the snow. And, on top of those issue, shooting in the cold can mess with your gear.
