If you are looking to get started in Photoshop, you’re in luck!
Adobe has recently launched–rather quietly, I might add–a new Photoshop for Beginners Tips and Tutorials Series on YouTube.
The series is titled 3, 2, 1... Photoshop!. As of this writing, there are 7 videos available, focusing on the core Photoshop skills. I’ve embedded these videos below for your convenience. You can also access the video series here.
By the way, 3, 2, 1... Photoshop! is hosted by Julieanne Kost. Julieanne is a longtime Adobe evangelist and, hands-down, my very favorite Photoshop and Lightroom instructor. Her teaching style is easy to follow and she provides clear directions and explanations. She really knows all of the ins and outs of Photoshop and Lightroom and it shows.

Who doesn't want smooth, creamy, flawless skin?
By using Lightroom's Adjustment Brush, you can give your portrait subjects skin that's as smooth as a baby's bottom in just a few quick steps.
Here's how it's done:
I love images that are steeped in rich, luscious colors.
But I also love the simplicity and charm of black and white photography. There's just something so classic and timeless about a black and white image. Black and white photos are all about shapes and textures and the way that the light plays with those elements. And without color, there's nothing to distract from the message/emotion captured in an image.
