iPhone Photography: IncrediBooth

There are a lot of photographers who aren’t big fans of the ever-growing world of iPhone photography and the Instagram-type app craze.

And I have to admit that I had a hard time getting on board with the whole deal myself. I think my initial reaction to the iPhone photo app trend was due to it being just too easy. A true photographer should have to work a little harder – and take the time to really learn how to create these effects either by taking the photo that way or becoming skilled enough in Photoshop to do it there. Plus, I just loving shooting with my DSLR too much.

But these days, I’ve gotten to the point where I realize that Instagram and similar photo enhancing apps are the way of the future and here to stay. The reality is that I can’t have my DSLR with me everywhere I go, but my iPhone goes with me wherever I am. And, that makes capturing everyday shots possible even when I’ve left my camera at home. But, more importantly, fair is fair and these apps can be a lot of fun to play with, precisely because the whole process is just so darned easy!

So, in that vain, here’s an article about another app that you might enjoy if you like the look of the old-time photo booth:
